About the Item
A striking 1970s Italian Modern floor lamp features a gracefully curved chrome arm that forms a sinuous, squiggle shape when expanded and circular loop when compressed. The arm supports a rounded shade in a neutral, off-white tone with horizontal cutouts. This sculptural floor lamp has a textured stone composite base, grounding the industrial design with a raw, natural feel. Sourced in Italy, 1970s.
Condition: Great overall vintage condition. Minor scratches and scuffs along the shade. The chrome arm displays a light patina that aligns with age and use. This lamp has been professionally rewired for U.S. use with a new clear cord, plug, and foot switch. A polished chrome pull-chain was also recently added. Accepts one standard light bulb.
