Art Deco Peter Behrens Light Fixture Chandelier, Opal Glass Nickel, Germany 1910

About the Item

A German glass and nickel light fixture with nice patina designed by Peter Behrens, manufactured circa 1910. The lamp shade is made of two glasses: an opaline white glass at the top and satinated glass at the bottom. Both glasses are held together with a nickeled ring. The glass is marked with PB SPEZIAL. New wiring with one medium or standard screw base socket. It works also with LED bulbs. The condition is good. There is a small dent in the canopy. Dimensions: Diameter: 11.8 inch (12 cm), height of body without stem and canopy: 14.6 inch (37 cm) Total overall drop: 26.4 inch (67 cm).
