About the Item
Huge brutalist sun-style flush mount by Ferroarte, Spain, 1960s. Metal structure formed by a circular base of wrought iron where different leaves or rays of sunlight of various sizes are welded as a crown around its perimeter. There are also 8-arm welds with lamp holders, creating an unique lighting effect. Finished in brushed golden-bronze tone. Starburst and sunburst style ceiling light. Very much in the style also of the French creations of Maison Jansen and Maison Charles, and the Spanish creations of Ferrocolor. Very much in the style of the brutalist Italian creations of Longobard.
For 8 E14 bulbs. Original electrical installation revised, with original lamp holders. Slight signs of wear and tear over the years.
