About the Item

One of the largest antique alabaster flush mounts from the early 1900s. This rare, almost flat and extra large size alabaster light fixture also is of a beautiful design. The beautiful and polished alabaster shade comes with flower petal like carvings all around the outside and they make this impressive light fixture even more desirable. This large size and striking alabaster pendant is designed in such a way that the two bulbs stay out of sight, no matter from what distance you look at it. What makes this antique light extra spectacular are the number of uniquely spread black veins and patches. Both on and off these veins and patches make this shade just perfect and combined with the beech-wood stem you could hardly wish for a more stylish light to grace your living space. This rare antique has two reinforced hairlines. The reinforcements were done on the inside, but they cannot be seen on the outside. The hairlines themselves can be seen on the outside, but since most alabaster shades have such hairlines anyway they don't stand out in that way. However, since this extra large and stunning shade is not as perfect as we would like, we have dropped the price by about 2000 USD. Mind you, this stunning and unique antique flush mount too is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage the world over and thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable canopy, mounting this flush mount tight to your ceiling is easy too.
