About the Item

One of a kind extra large (31,5 inches ) gilt sunburst light fixture in wrought iron. Spain, 1940s. This monumental triple layered ceiling flush mount was entirely made in hand-forged iron and finished in gold leaf gilding. It features a large sunburst wiht rays in two sizes surrounding the central sphere. The central panel is nicely adorned by the hammer work and accented by concentric circles in iron and a sun shaped decoration. Beautiful to be placed as ceiling light fixture, chandelier or pendant as it can be suspended from a chain in case that you need extra height. Manufactured at the Art Deco Period with Baroque design. Terrific aged patina and original gilding. Rare find due to its XXL size.
