About the Item

Wrought iron Sunburst style flush mount by Ferro Art (also known as Ferroarte), Spain, 1950s. Metallic body formed by a wrought iron circular base where different leaves are welded as a crown around its perimeter. Molded glass diffuser. Finished in gold paint with a tan tone. Mid-Century and Starburst style ceiling light. Very much in the style also of the French creations of Maison Jansen and Maison Charles, of the Spanish creations of Ferrocolor, and the brutalist Italian creations of Longobard. Very vintage. For 2 E14 bulbs. Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational. LED compatible. Slight signs of wear and tear from the passing of the years, see photos. Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
