Large Circular Crystal Ceiling Lamp with Five Lights Italian 20th Century

About the Item

Large Crystal Ceiling Lamp with Five Fifties Lights enclosed within a circular crystal bowl. This circular suspension from the late 1950s is characterized at the top by a gilded crown made of cast bronze, decorated with volutes of raised racemes and surmounted by curved crystal leaves. From this band departs a cascade of crystals that form a soft garment of faceted crystal octagon chains of sloping size that connects in the center with a round metal ferrule and other pointed crystals, pendants, carved crystal prisms tipped like spears. This Italian ceiling light does not adhere to the ceiling but is suspended via a central stem covered with vase-shaped crystal elements. Superb is the effect of refraction, the light coming from within the circular structure enhances the vivid brilliance of the crystals in this ceiling lamp from the second half of the twentieth century. The original electrical system was not working and was rewired according to European standards, the ceiling light has five internal Edison large lamp holders (E27) The maximum power is 750 watts. This large and elegant ceiling light is particularly suitable for lighting both classic and modern rooms, even with ceilings 2.70 meters high. It weighs about 18 kg.
