About the Item

French midcentury gilt iron eyelash sunburst ceiling light fixture / wall sconce, 1950s. A hand-hammered large gilt iron sunburst light fixture with alternating eyelash ended rays and straight rays. Handcrafted in France at the mid-20th century period. The central sphere is richly decorated by the hammer marks. Original gold leaf gilding and nice patina. It can be used as flush mount or as pendant hanging from a chain at the desired height. Newly wired with 3 E27 bulb holders. Measures: 58 cm diameter x 14cm H Sunburst Light Fixture // Sunburst Flush Mount // Sunburst Wall Light.
