About the Item
Bronze and Crystal Ceiling Lamp circa 1960, vintage four-light ceiling lamp enclosed within a circular crystal bowl. This suspension of the 1960s is characterized at the top by a gilded crown made of cast bronze, decorated with volutes of raised racemes. A cascade of crystals starts from this band forming a soft garment of chains of faceted crystal octagons of sloping size that connect at the center with a round metal ferrule and other pointed crystals, pendants, carved crystal prisms tipped like spears.
Superb is the effect of refraction, the light coming from within the circular structure enhances the vivid brilliance of the crystals in this ceiling lamp from the second half of the twentieth century.
The original electrical system was not working and was rewired, the ceiling light has four large Edison lamp holders (E27) The maximum power is 750 watts. This elegant ceiling light is particularly suitable for lighting both classic and modern rooms, even with 2.70-meter-high ceilings. It weighs about 14 kg.
