About the Item

Mid-Century Space Age clear and frosted glass round flush mount or wall lamp attributed to J.T. Kalmar, Austria, circa the 1960s. An iconic Space Age wall or ceiling light with a frosted and clear glass dome lampshade with a concentric pattern. The base is made of aluminum colored in brass color. Two sockets for E27 (E26) size light bulbs. In good condition with signs of aging, some losses of brass coloration. Dimensions: height: circa 12 cm / 4,72 in; diameter: 30 cm / 11.81 in. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is installed by a qualified electrician.
