Modernist Chrome & Circular Cascading Murano Drop Glass Flush Mount
About the Item
This stunning and sophisticated modernist flush mount chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- during the latter half of the 20th century. It offers an abundance of handblown Murano pendants in textural translucent glass with raised concentric rings ,cascading downwards from a circular polished chrome base. These clear Murano glass pendants offer a curvilinear pattern in dramatic relief that adds a subtle sense of dynamism to the chandelier, perfectly complimentary the kinetic cascading effect. With its clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
