About the Item
This stunning modernist eight-arm "honeycomb" chandelier was handcrafted in Murano, Italy by High Style Deco- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. The chandelier features six arms extending from a cylindrical brass body with a finial of the same form and material in miniature adorning its base. The arms culminate in domed frosted glass shades that are circumscribed with an hexagonal embellishment in brushed brass. With its clean lines and bold modernist form, this chandelier is as versatile as it is stunning, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. While this fixture is beautiful as a flush mount, it can also be dropped and presented as a hanging chandelier. The fixture accommodates six candelabra based bulbs providing up to 360 watts of light.
