About the Item
A striking hexagonal flush-mount ceiling light handcrafted by Steven Handelman Studios, dated November 2006. The model is identified as "Sonora 20” C/M" and features a robust wrought iron frame in a dark bronze finish, adorned with ornate hand-forged scrollwork over warm faux mica panels. The softly glowing mica offers a rich amber tone, creating a warm and ambient illumination ideal for entryways, hallways, or dining areas.
The domed lower portion is sectioned by radiating iron bars and decorative flourishes, each meeting at a sculpted finial. The upper band is equally detailed, with additional scrollwork and squared molding, giving the fixture an elegant and traditional Spanish Revival character.
Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, this light is UL listed for dry locations and incandescent use only. The underside retains the original UL certification label and maker’s information.
