About the Item
French large wrought gilt hand forged iron sunburst flush mount / ceiling light fixture. France, 1950s.
This hand-hammered iron flushmount has alternating rays in two sizes surrounding the central sphere and a flower decoration at the central part. Brutalist accents.
This sunburst was entirely made with hand forged iron, the central panel is richly adorned by the hammer marks and It has a terrific aged patina with gold leaf finishing.
It can be placed flush mounted or as a pendant hanging on a chain at the desired height.
Newly wired with 3 E14 bulb holders.
