Vintage Burger Chef Icosahedron Glass Globe Lights

About the Item

Genuine treasure from America's burger wars of the 1960's, we have two of these opaque white glass globes from the iconic Burger Chef restaurants purchased directly from one of their earliest employees. Each globe is an icosahedron (20 triangular sides) one of which serves as the 4 inch rimmed mouth for the mounting hardware. Each triangular plane is applied with the original colored plexi-acrylic triangles in Burger Chef's signature trade dress orange and teal blue. These colors are impossible to match today. With standard lighting elements these globes can be used as ceiling mounted lights, hanging pendants or even as table lamps. 100 watt bulbs. Price shown is for one. Presently two available.
