1930s Art Deco Church Lantern with Angels, Red Glass Shade, and Crown Finial – Restored, Convertible Hanging or Table Lamp
A rare and stunning 1930s Art Deco ecclesiastical lantern salvaged from a historic church, this ornate metal fixture is adorned with beautifully cast Art Deco angels on three sides, making it a true statement piece for any interior. Topped with an intricate crown finial, the lantern embodies the spiritual elegance and geometric precision characteristic of sacred Art Deco design.
This lantern is designed to be hardwired for indoor use and comes with 30 inches of original-style chain for hanging. At its center is a cylindrical red glass shade, which casts a warm, atmospheric glow while concealing the bulb. The vivid red is both symbolic and dramatic, evoking the reverence of its original liturgical setting.
Versatile in function, the lantern also features three scrolled feet, allowing it to be used as a freestanding tabletop lamp if preferred.
