19th Century French Napoleon III Bronze Dore & Beveled Glass Four-Light Lantern
About the Item
Make a statement in your entryway or powder room with this elegant Napoleon III bronze dore fixture. Crafted in France, circa 1870, and square in shape, the antique lantern features a top crown decorated with scroll and acanthus leaf decor; the sides are embellished with exquisite beveled glass panels, each decorated at the top with shell motifs and acanthus leaves mounts. The large lantern has four newly wired lights dressed with decorative candle sleeve covers. The sturdy and beautiful ceiling fixture is in excellent condition and adorns a rich patinated gilt finish. Canapé, loop and chain included.
