Antique circa 1900 Pair of Brass English Ship’s Lanterns

PAIR OF ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP'S LANTERNS IN RED & GREEN FRESNEL LENS England, circa 1900 Item # 301PAY23Z A wonderful aged pair of brass ship's lanterns with original red and green fresnel lenses from the turn of the century, each features a beautifully patinated body with extensive discoloration and oxidization from years on the oceans. They have never been electrified or modified, but we can certainly electrify them for modern use upon request. Measurements: 16 3/4" H (20" H with handle up) x 10" D x 10" W Condition Report: Tarnished, oxidized and generally discolored surfaces from years of exposure; light dents, dings and abrasions throughout; internal oil lamp components unchecked for completeness and will likely require attention of a specialist to function again.     UNUSUAL PAIR OF LIGHTHOUSE-FORM BRASS LOG STOP ANDIRONS By Rostand Manufacturing Company of Milford, Connecticut made circa early 20th century marked on log hogs "ROSTAND" and with embossed signature cast into the back of each lighthouse as well as being cast ROSTAND into the upper part of the lighthouse interior Item # 311PFP30Q This very fun pair of unusual andirons were manufactured by Rostand Manufacturing Company in Milford, Connecticut the early 20th century, each being made in a lighthouse form with a pierced housing on top to allow light of the fire come through the form. They remain in very fine condition with original log hogs behind each, this refinished in-house for a clean presentation.
