Gorgeous German antique oil lamp. It is a Kosmos Brenner. "Kosmos" was the most popular burner in Europe. While the first patent for the design was lodged in 1865 in the U.K by Wild and Wessel ( from Berlin) the name "Kosmos" started in 1875 and lasted until 1903 when the Company was taken over by Hugo Schneider.
