Art Deco Hall Lantern Attributed to Pier Luigi Colli '1895-1968'
About the Item
This fine quality wrought iron hall lantern is attributed to one of the finer metalworkers in Italy of the period, Pier Luigi Colli. The pale lacquered decorative wrought iron frame holds a smart bass detail which in turn holds the original pale glass which acts as a shade. The fitting hangs from a brass chain with a brass ceiling rose. There are also four elegant lights which resemble candles and throw a gentle illumination. Equally at home in a period or contemporary setting, this elegant piece would grace any hallway.
