About the Item

This Swedish Art Deco lantern (Bjerkås Armatur, Corona Belysning style) was designed and manufactured in the 1930s to 1940s). The light features a patinated cast iron frame suspended by a chain from a decorative ceiling canopy. It is adorned with four trapezoidal glass panels that have a textured, hammered finish, diffusing light beautifully. A delicate floral and grapevine motif embellishes the metal framework, adding an organic touch to the geometric composition. The pointed frame edges further enhance its striking aesthetic, balancing elegance with a slightly rustic charm. This lantern exemplifies early 20th-century Swedish craftsmanship, making it a statement piece for vintage or Art Deco-inspired interiors.
