Large French Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Crystal Four-Light Lantern, 1920-1930

About the Item

A very elegant gilt bronze and brass mounted cylindrical lantern with a central four-light candelabra cluster, France, 1920-1930. Finely handcrafted, clean lines and modern design inspired by Louis XVI style. Four original curved crystal glass panels surrounded by fine swags and ribbons. This piece is perfectly preserved, cleaned and hand-polished, rewired. The lantern comes with a solid bronze chain and canopy - please see last picture. Four original silk shades in ivory color included. Measures: Height of the lantern itself: 32" / 82 cm Overall height with chain and canopy 60" / 152 cm, adjustable height by extending or shortening the chain Diameter 16" / 41 cm.
