Venini Murano Chandelier/Pendant
About the Item
Designed by the venerable Paulo Venini in the 1940's, this rare brass and Murano glass lantern in the Directoire Revival style is a show stopper. Clear Murano rods are separated by very thin brass rods that terminate in arrows on the bottom. Inside there are 2 rows of 3 candelabra sockets pointing light downward. The bottom is open allowing the light to shine down while still illuminating the glass rods outward. The top is a brass dome with an 8" rod, that then can be attached to chain.
"Antique" brass colored chain is new.
This would be magnificent in an entry, stairwell or over a dining table.
