1930’s Century Lion Electric Polychrome Aluminum Sconces – A Pair
About the Item
Cast Aluminum sconces with original polychrome enamel finish. Neogothic style. Single Arm. Shield form backplate. These sconces are in a very common style but unusual for their aluminum construction, they are strong but incredibly light. They were made during a time period before world war II when cheap aluminum was available and was being promoted in the decorative arts. These sconces have been cleaned, the original painted finish has some wear as expected for its age. Completely rewired and otherwise in very good condition. Ready to install.
