1960s Black & Brass Wall Lamp Attributed to Jacques Biny.
An exceptionally clean and simple design executed in brass with a black metal shade. Lamp rotates freely on adjustable swivel. Quintessentially midcentury French in its conception and execution attributed to the incomparable Jacques Biny.
Another pair of similar sconces with slightly different brass hardware is available in a separate listing.
Accommodates 1x 60w max equivalent standard candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style backplate for mounting over standard US j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
