1960's Brass Diabolo Sconce Up & Down Lighter
About the Item
Single large scale wall-mounted double cone 'diabolo' sconce with upper and lower cones made of spun brass with brushed finish and two rows of pinhole perforations around the edge; mounted to a hefty cast brass wedge shaped mount with integral mounting hardware (4" wide by 2.5: high".
Both up and down light have porcelain E27 sockets for standard size Edison screw lightbulbs. UL listed sticker present.
Shown with the larger cone directed down but can also be mounted so the smaller cone is directed down.
The scale and heft lead me to believe this sconce was made for use in commercial buildings.
