19th Century Pair of Large Italian Leafted Iron Five-Light Sconces From Tuscany
About the Item
Pair of Renaissance style mid-19th century five-arm Italian sconces, wrought Iron hand-realized with acanthus leaves decoration, walnut bobeches. Tuscan origin, they come from a private villa in Tuscany.
A set of two antique Italian wrought iron five-light wall candleholders features with five curved and scrolling foliate arms decorated with leaves, ending with turned walnut bobeches and candles arranged for Edison 14 bulbs.
The original wiring is still working for Italian standard but we would recommend to rewire them.
in quite good condition, only one original embossed shaped back plate.
The second back plate missing but we can customize a new hand-made one.
This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 2-3 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.
