Asea 4 Porcelain Sconce, Wall Light handmade by Ceren Gurkan

Ceren Gurkan is a Turkish, contemporary designer. She studied ceramic and glass design at Mimar Sinan University and graduated in 2009. She started her career as a sculptor assistant and later became the Design Director of Yakamoz Vitray, a glass manufacturer company, where she spent two years. She also worked as the Product Designer in Urart El Sanatlari, a company manufacturing traditional objects and jewelry made from glass and metal. Meanwhile, Ceren also positioned herself between ceramic design, painting and photography. She is a creative individual who has always been into creating objects from nature and daily life, along with making them functional. She enjoys experimenting with different light sources and crafty materials.
