About the Item
Brutalist Murano glass sconces or flush mounts from AV Mazzega, Italy, 70s, set of 2. Each piece is composed by a hand-made Murano glass diffuser in semi-transparent and orange tones, organically shaped and in "frozen" style, which is attached by 4 silver nuts to a white lacquered metal structure. Very much in the style of the Italian glass creations of La Murrina, Vistosi, Novaresi Milano, F. Fabbian and Venini, and of the German creations of Hillebrand. Space Age and Hollywood Regency style, totally timeless.
For 1 E27 bulbs each piece. Original electrical electrification revised and renewed wiring. Small marks of the passage of time on the metal; the structures have been repainted. Murano glass shades in perfect condition.
