Beautitiful 1950s Swing Arm Counterbalanced Wall Applique by Cosack Leuchten
About
Rare and beautiful 1950s organic form counterbalanced swing arm applique by the specialist avant garde german lighting company Cosack Leuchten.
This applique is in wonderful and rare original unrestored condition and has never been repainted, a lovely original example.
The applique has two rotating swivel points, one at the wall mounting finished in the original black enameled 'crackle finish' and another on the top of the organic 'wishbone' form finished in enameled aluminum . The angle of the cantilevered reflector, also finished in its original white 'crackle' enamel finish, is also adjustable via a ball joint held on a brass stem is stabilised by a counterweight . The wall mounting has an integral lighting switch.
The arm can be extended up to an amazing 170cm / 67 inch
