BRONX Sconce in Concrete, Rippled Glass and Metal Mesh by Blueprint Lighting
About the Item
Part of The Boroughs Collection, created in partnership with The Brownstone Boys.
Inspired by the Bronx's rich musical heritage and loosely based on a vinyl record platter, the Bronx wall sconce is a visual celebration of mixed materials and patterns. The textured concrete center represents the most abundant material found in the five Boroughs, while the metal grate mimics the pattern of the classic iron manhole covers found throughout the streets of New York. Lastly, the robust double-walled glass diffuser is a small feat of engineering. With a "rippled" face represents soundwaves and record grooves, light is cast forward but is also captured in the frosted sidewall producing a glowing halo of warm light around the perimeter of the glass. The unique fusion of materials it a contemporary reflection of the borough's cultural dynamism and innovative spirit.
Shown here in our Dark Bronze enamel (on the metal grid only) , but may be made in our Black enamel (metal grid only) .

Uses two (2) E12 sockets (candelabra socket). Dimmable. We recommend G16 (small globe shape) bulbs in incandescent or LED with 60 watt equivalent. UL listed.
