Chrome wall / ceiling lamp - ITALY - SPACE AGE
About the Item
This wall / ceiling lamp is most probably from the 1960s, during the upcoming space age and made in Italy. This period heavily influenced designs by using certain materials and shapes. Here we can see a chrome frame, which houses the light elements. On the inside of the lamp a mirror can be seen, which reflects the lights on its surface.
The designer used only geometric and symmetric shapes, which were another trademark in designs of that time.
The lamp is still in very good shape. It has acquired a nice patina over the years, mainly on the chrome frame.
