Designer by training and educated in my hometown at the renowned Paris Designer School (École Supérieure de Design Industriel) I founded my own business in 2006 to answer the needs of major Iconic Parisian Designer Brands such as Chanel, Issey Miyake, Jean-Paul Gaultier as well as many others.
In 2018, I embarked on a new adventure, settling at the edge of the Barbizon Forest, a region of France renowned for its world-class impressionist painters. I started to design Sculptures inspired by this area. My works of Art are abstract creations influenced by the texture of stone. Through them, I wish to echo the marvel of natural rock formations in the Barbizon Forest I contemplate around me.
My fascination with ‘Light’ soon became integral part of my artistic universe. I seek to combine it with the captivating mystery of 'Nature'. Both themes 'Light and Nature' inspire my creativity in the conception of my Designer Sculptures. Through my work, I look to bring together in a delicate harmony pure airy volumes with the authentic strength of the raw material.
Each one of my Light Sculptures is meticulously handcrafted. They are all made out of a natural lightweight graphic ‘rattan’ structure, on which I superimpose pieces of delicately torn silk paper. As the Sculpture evolves, I seek to play around with its intrinsic unevenness to find the hidden alchemical ‘Light’ lying at the heart of the material itself. After a lapse of time, the Sculpture will finally come to life to unveil its hidden Magic, providing the eyes with a soft, hypnotizing sensation and soothing.

A subset of the algae lighting line, the Algae Sconces are the minimal expression of how this material can serve a range of products and design installations. Algae is molded into translucent cylindrical lamp shades that glow from the interior.
The algae species are carefully selected and treated with organic components to shape them into cylinders. The result is a translucent texture that smoothly filters the light, creating a warm environment of yellowish green tones.
The frame is golden-hued brass or bronze to help reflect the LED bulbs in a warmer light. As LED lighting technology improves, its color range will widen; currently, however, the range is still narrow and therefore benefits from skillful filtering and dispersion tactics.
Algae is translucent and has sculptural potential; its colors are varied, rich and vibrant. In our research in LED lighting, we have found that an important way to make LED light warmer is to filter it through natural materials. Texture and shape are also main factors; the unpredictable form of each algae shade after the drying/molding process, as well as its tactile textured surface, help to dissipate the light in a manner that glows more softly.
