Part of the Cycladic Series, exploring the power of architecture brought to small scale. The Circle sconce illuminates the purity, symbolism and intimate power of the circle: one of the most emblematic, elemental geometric forms expressed in both nature and our manmade world. A subtle half split of its body, only perceivable when lit or at close range, frees dozens of new subtle expressions of faceted light off and onto its form, as well as surrounding surfaces. Its light source streams from both front and back of the piece, resulting in a functional symphony of light and shadow at small scale.
