Copper And Brass Candle Sconces, Continental, 19th Century

About the Item

A very fine pair of heavy gauge cast copper cartouche form sconces with brass candelabra arms holding crisply cast copper rosette form drip pans and brass nozzles. Exceptional quality workmanship throughout- crisply formed garland motifs and acanthus fill out the shield form backplates. Substantial hanging bars are firmly fixed to the backs. Late 19th century. Very good condition. Light patina. H: 21 ½ W: 11 ½ D: 5
