Murano Glass Wall Lamp Fish shaped Blue color hand carved Contemporary Italy.
This lamp could either be used as a Table lamp or a sconce wall lamp.
This magnificent wall lamp is entirely handmade in blown Murano glass. The main body is one glass flame-shaped element with an intense blue color, decorated with curved black and milk-white stripes, and with a transparent finishing handcarved at the top.
The surface is smooth, apart from the edges where the surface is handcarved like the texture of a body's fish. You can see this effect in the detailed photo of the upper part of the flame itself, and in the lower part towards the base.
The entire body of this beautiful wall lamp is housed in a steel-colored metal frame. Inside the main body there is a light bulb that enhances many shades of blue color, from the most intense to a light blue shade. This unique masterpiece is not just a wall lamp but a stunning work of art, entirely handmade with blown Murano glass. The sculpture is designed by Alberto Donà. Its production dates Contemporary 21st century

Alberto Donà
Alberto Donà, born in Italy in 1944, began working in the glass field at the age of 13 and became known for his ability with colors and creativity in generating unique combinations, hence his valued collaborations with important companies such as Venini, Saporiti that have relied on Donà for glass accessories. In October 2001, he had a one-man show at the Vassel Art Gallery in London. He was selected to furnish the lighting for the Hiroshima Memorial Museum.
