H20, Hand Carved Lime Wood Sconce by Dominique Alary in the Shape of a Wave
About the Item
Hand-carved lime wood sconce is substantial in size at 24"H and 6" deep. Sconce can be stained to customer's choice of color, natural wood is light blonde. From the front, it looks like a drop of water, but from the side it surges and crests like an enormous wave arrested in its course at the very moment it is poised to break against the shore. Soft glow from a 20W bi-pin halogen lamp backlights the sculptural form of the wave. Published, Interieurs magazine 09/1997.
