Italian Gilt Tôle Mirrored Sconce
About the Item
An Italian gilded iron four-light wall sconce with large fan shaped etched mirrored backplate. Scrolled arms with gilt tôle foliate decoration. Rewired with original sockets and USA adapters. Original wood candle covers. Mirror has a nice aged patina with etched flowers. Label on back: Mingazzi Made in Italy. Founded by master artisan blacksmith Sante Mingazzi (1867-1922) in Bologna, family run until 1980. Circa 1950s
