About the Item

Jacques Biny, bed or painting lamp for Lita, France 1950s A bed lamp or painting lamp made by Jacques Biny for Lita France, during the 50s. You can attach the lamp to any object, because you can clamp this lamp. The clamp holder is adjustable with a turning knob in brass on top, adjustable with a size between 2 and 3 cm. The metal lampshade has a pastel blue color on the outside and a cream color on the inside, it is rotatable and hangs between a brass round curved rod, which is attached to a square metal suspension system with clamp. The lamp has an electric wire with on and off button with plug. The bulb for the fitting is long narrow and the fitting is made of bakelite Jacques Biny (1913-1976) French industrial designer, interior designer and producer, was particularly active in the 1950s through the 1970s in France. The dimensions are 7 cm high, 31 cm wide and 12 cm deep.
