Large Mid-Century Modern Hollywood Regency Florentine Wall Sconce or Sculpture

About the Item

This very large and substantial wall sconce or sculpture has no maker's marks, but did originate from Italy and dates to approximately 1965 and done in a Hollywood Regency style. The sconce is composed of metal with a gilt finish that has been formed into a large floral spray spanning almost five feet across, with individual leaves and groups of hanging crystals around each candle light. The sconce has a single loop hook on the back and hangs flush to the wall and has a standard North American plug. The sconce bears a small brass tag identifying it as being made in Italy.

Wear consistent with age and use. One light/'s wiring is loose and currently not working, but could be addressed when sold. Some light surface wear to some edges and some bends to metal leaves as presented in the photos and consistent with age and use. Some crystals may be missing.
