About the Item
Impressive pair of sizable wall sconces with stunning alabaster shades.
This rare pair of Art Deco style sconces is beautiful both in design and execution. The combination of the blackened wrought iron with the hand-crafted rose motifs and the creamy white, alabaster shades with their organic, natural veins and patches (that have developed in this mineral stone over thousands of years) is an absolute joy to look at (both on and off). This hand-crafted and fabulous pair from circa 1960-1970 is in very good condition. Hanging further apart than in our images they will look perfect on either side of a couch, sidetable, dresser or bed and the warm light they radiate will create a unique atmosphere. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of these shades. In real life (or in person) our light fixtures always have that little bit extra and these stunning sconces are no exception. Our regular clients (designer and private ones) have learned to take our word for it. Both with the light on and off their aesthetic beauty will never go unnoticed. These two-light sconces will arrive rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the country where they will be used and enjoyed. And if purchased by one of our American clients, then they will come with sockets that will take your regular American E26 bulbs.
