Impressive pair of quality crafted alabaster and hand forged roses wall sconces. This rare pair of Art Deco style sconces is beautiful both in design and execution. The combination of the marvelously handcrafted wrought iron frames and the large alabaster shades with their natural veins running through them, makes this pair a real joy to own and look at. The creamy white, natural mineral stone shades are wonderful in the daytime, but in the evenings, with the light shining through, they create an atmosphere that cannot be caught in a photo. Over the years we have sold a large number of alabaster pendants and sconces and the feedback we get often is about how these light fixtures are even more beautiful in real life. And they are. This rare pair is decorated with hand forged, wrought iron roses on either side of the frames for wall mounting and because of the quality of their colors and details these lights are truly stylish and decorative. This handcrafted and fabulous pair from circa 1960-1970 is in near-mint condition and wall-mounted on either side of a couch, side table, credenza, dresser or bed, the warm light they radiate will create an amazing atmosphere. Mind you, this remarkable pair will be rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the country where they will be used and when purchased by an American client we will also attach American sockets. This large and striking pair is great value for money.
