About the Item

Striking sculptural wall light by Raak Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1970s. This large rectangular fixture is composed of irregular chunks of clear textured glass mounted in a resin frame. While the glass itself is transparent, the inside of the frame is painted amber, creating a dramatic effect: unlit the lamp appears crystal-clear with subtle tones, but once illuminated it radiates a deep warm amber glow reminiscent of glowing minerals. A bold design that bridges Brutalist architecture and the glamour of the Hollywood Regency style, making it both a statement piece and an atmospheric source of light. Fitted with three E14 sockets. Comparable in style to works by Poliarte, Veca, and Carlo Nason, but unmistakably Raak Amsterdam in its strong sculptural expression. Highlights Rare wall lamp by Raak Amsterdam Transparent textured glass, amber-painted interior Glows in dramatic amber tones when lit Bridges Brutalist and Hollywood Regency aesthetics Netherlands, 1970s 3 × E14 sockets
