About

John-Paul Philippe's sconces are made of patinated steel and handblown glass, and can be purchased individually or as a pair. Inspired by the nature that surrounds him in the countryside, Philippe's lighting design references sculptural bird perches.

John-Paul Philippe is a native Oklahoma-born artist and designer based in Sharon, CT. John-Paul's work ranges from paintings and murals, to large scale interior design elements such as integrated metal sculpture in both commercial and private venues.

John-Paul's design aesthetic has been at the forefront of the Barneys New York store concept design and interior art throughout the United States and Japan. Recent endeavors include large scale metal architectural partitions, commissioned for public and private collections. His work has been shown in various international exhibitions and fairs, and can be seen in publications such as The Wall Street journal, New York Times, L'UOMO Vogue, and The Los Angeles Times.
