Elegant pair of 1940s era French wall lamps - sconces in cast bronze and glass.
Amazing fabrication and detail. Assembled with screws, cast bronze acanthus leaf, molded textured glass plates.
Original wiring. US light bulb adapter.
Provenance: Parisian hotel - Probably never been used. When we purchased these sconces, they were taken directly from the hotel's storage and still wrapped in newspapers from 1941.
Rare to find this quality of sconces.
