Mid-20th Century Italian Tole Lemon Espalier Tree Wall Light

About the Item

A striking and sculptural mid-20th century tole espalier wall light in the form of a lemon tree, likely Italian in origin. This whimsical piece features hand-painted green foliage and vibrant yellow lemons, with integrated working lights that bring the botanical form to life. The tree is rooted in a faux-painted half-round pot, designed to mount flush against a wall for dramatic impact. Wear is consistent with age and use, including minor scuffs to the painted surface—most notably on the back edge of the pot—adding to its charming patina.
