Mid-Century Modern Swiss Space Age Wall from Temde, Switzerland

About the Item

A very rare space age wall lamp from the renowned swiss manufacturer temde. a functional light source and complex light sculpture in a room. The design is based on the addition of chrome-colored cylinders. These are arranged horizontally and vertically in various planes and connected at precise right angles. A strictly geometric lighting structure, like a small piece of architecture. An e14 socket is located at each end of the cylinders. The lamp is mounted to the wall via a stud with a mounting plate. A round chrome cover conceals the mounting plate. The lamp is ideal for head-mirrored bulbs. it is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina on the chrome.
