Mid-Century Swiss Space Age Brass Sconce by E.R. Nele for Temde 1960s

About the Item

Elegant wall lamp from Temde according to a design by E.R. Nele. Max Bill often incorrectly attributed. Classic and yet timelessly modern. Here in the rare version in brass. The opal glass diffuser sits at the end of a straight bridge that is fixed in the middle of a trumpet -shaped plate. The ball can be screwed over the frame with a thread. The lamp has a train switch. The lamp is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear. The surface was also polished back to a high gloss by an artisan. This piece has an attribution mark. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
