About the Item
Lamp produced in less than one hundred original pieces between the years 1969 and 1972 by the Newlamp company in Rome. Designed by architect Gianfranco Fini, in collaboration with Mario Vento, this large, heavy wall light panel is made of steel with 100 flaps that can be opened independently of each other.
Behind a sheet of white methacrylate, the 'electrical system consists of 4 neon lamps and as many instant transformers. This lamp has been much falzified, and original specimens like the present one are really few. The originals can be recognized mainly by the 'electrical system, then by the ignition switch and mounting screws. This lamp has been personally examined by the Newlamp Archive in Rome and has a 100% certificate of authenticity. We are available for further information.
