A highly refined and iconic design by one of the Danish modern giants of the midcentury era. Built in on/off switch. Designed to be mounted and hardwired directly to a standard 4" US junction-box. They are not labeled, but we acquired two pairs of these and one retained its original label (and may still be available in our inventory; contact us or browse our inventory if a second pair interests you). Each sconce features a distinctive bulbous glass shade with a serrated top, the opaque glass allowing light to diffuse warmly throughout a room. They are constructed from solid rosewood, not simply veneers, each with a vibrant chaotic grain and natural finish. The sconce extends from the tapered, angular backing on a reeded brass post with a conveniently located light switch just below for easy access.
